In the mid to late 1980's the Lincoln Firefighter's Association Local 644 began to consider constructing a building for the purposes of meetings, receptions, and philanthropic events. The idea began in it's infancy with a conceptualidea by one of the members of the Association and worked through the labyrinth of discussions until it became a reality. At that point, a committee of members was established to begin researching various plots of property in Lincoln to build such a facility.
After an adruous search throughout the city, in the early 1990's, property was purchased by the Lincoln Firefighter's Association Local 644 in conjunction with the Lincoln Firefighter's Benefit Association. In the mid to late 1990's the committee identified an architect and ultimately a general contractor. Construction began and our wonderful new facility was completed in 2000.
The Lincoln Firefighter's Association Local 644 is proud to present our state-of-the-art facility to you for your event. Please enjoy the ambience of quality. |
